Sülük Tedavisi ve PATENT
Geleneksel ve Tamamlayıcı Tıp (GETAT)’ın önemli unsurlarından biri olan Tıbbi Sülük Tedavisi son yıllarda Modern Tıbbın da ilgisini çekmeye başlamıştır.
Sülük Tedavisini Modern Tıbbın kliniklerinin kullanması ve olumlu klinik sonuçlarla birlikte bu sonuçların altında yatan mekanizmalar aydınlatılmaya çalışılmıştır.
Bu kapsamda öncelikle Sülük salgıları incelenmiştir.
Bu anlamda öncü kuruluşlardan biri Biopeps firmasıdır.
Malezya ve ABD merkezli bir kuruluş olan Biopeps firması sülük salgıları konusunda 14 patent aldı.

Biopep firması Diyabet Tedavisi ile ilgili yaptığı çalışmayı da patentleştirmiştir.
Bunlardan da daha önemlisi kanser konusundaki çalışmalardır. Her ne kadar in vitro hücre düzeyinde çalışmalarda olsa bazı kanser türlerinin tedavisinde sülük salgılarının tedavi edici etkisi patentleştirilmiştir.
Biopep firması sülük salgılarının bazı kanser türlerinin tedavisine karşı etkinliğine patent aldı.

Bu bilgiler henüz hastalara bu uygulamaların bu endikasyonlarda kullanımı anlamına gelmemektedir. Modern Tıbbın tavsiyeleri noktasında kanser hastalığının tedavisine devam edilmelidir.
Ancak belki ileri araştırmalarla sülük salgıları kanser hastalarının tedavisinde kullanılabilecek standart bir yöntem haline getirilebilecektir.
